FitFlop Supports Breast Cancer Awareness, Every Pair Makes A Difference!

Do you still remember my recent post on my first visit at FitFlop's 9th store at BGC? (Post HERE) Guess what? The same "superwomen" were back, this time for something even more exciting to share!

As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, though the month is almost over, I would still like to share this great news! FitFlop has partnered with ICanServe Foundation to educate and empower women to be more conscious of their breast care.

I used to shy away from this topic or moreso having a check! I dread the annual check-up because I a so shy having a "stranger" touch my breasts! I guess most of you felt the same because the Philippines has the highest Breast Cancer rate claiming at least 40% of the lives of those who have been diagnosed.

This is definitely serious business and education is needed

Last October 15th, at the Bonifacio High Street Central branch, a special event was held to highlight this cause.

ICanServe Foundation's Vice-President and two-time breast cancer survivor, Nikoy De Guzman, shared an inspirational story about her experience and struggles with breast cancer, facts on breast health and how early detection can in fact save lives.

I was really quiet all of a sudden because I nearly lost my mom and I know how hard it is to really lose someone you love or someone who matters to you.

That is why I am very happy with this "awareness campaign" and I pledged to God and myself I will do everything I can to help spread this news.
